What About Outside
the Classroom
There are many site and organizations
that come in to classroom or allow whole classroom into their site for learning. Many of my teaching ideas have come from
organizations that also help train teachers about new learning ideas. Many of these site make for good classroom field trips
or resources for lesson plans.
This site is dedicated to teaching students, teacher,
parents, and the public about safety and healthy living and eating. The allow students to come for trips and teach them about
body funtions using techology such as videos and remote controlers!
Children's Health and Learning Center
I visited the following site with a teaching partner.
I is a unique organization that teacher students and the public about alternative composting methods using worms. They also
teach and explain how the increase recycling.

Finally, I have added a link to the Public Zoo. After
hearing a prentation about incorporating trips to the zoo into the class, I understood how one of the more popular field trip
site could be better used in the class. The studenets explained that clear assessment and objective goals should be outline
before making a trip. Student should be given paper to take note and answer specific questions.
